    5G Pro

    Posted by Lea Jacobs

I was torn between getting the regular XTR or the 5G Pro, especially since I have a few friends who have the XTR and love it. In the end, I went with the 5G because I wanted faster speeds and like staying up to date with the latest tech. I’m super happy with my decision—it’s been fast and reliable, even to the point where I’ve stopped using my Starlink altogether. Definitely worth the upgrade if you're looking for speed and portability!

I’ve been really impressed with the TravlFi Pro 5G router—the features and security are top-notch, and the hardware feels solid and reliable. It performs as well, if not better, than my previous Peplink device.

    TravlFi 5G

I’ve been using the TravlFi XTR Pro 5G for a couple weeks now, and honestly, it’s been pretty awesome. The connection has been super reliable, even when I’m in areas where I didn’t expect to get any decent signal. The 4G speeds are surprisingly fast too—I was worried they’d be slow, but nope, it works great for streaming and Zoom calls. One thing I didn’t expect is how big the router is. It’s not huge or anything, but definitely a bit bulkier than I thought it would be, so it’s not the easiest to just toss in a backpack or hide in my RV.

The TravlFi XTR Pro 5G router has been incredibly reliable, offering strong and stable internet even in remote areas. Even when 5G isn’t available, the 4G speeds are surprisingly fast, making it more than capable for streaming, work, and everyday use. It’s also been a great alternative to Starlink, offering portability without the need for satellite setup. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for dependable internet on the go.
